Evangelism Missions Background
James started as an evangelist a little later in life deciding to go to International Bible College (now Heritage Christian University) in 1993. While at IBC, he discovered his love for evangelism. He has been on campaigns in Washington D.C., Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Trinidad and the Ukraine. He graduated in 1997 and received the distinguished "Outstanding Christian Service Award". If you call, Susan will probably be the one that you talk to for any information. She is responsible for forwarding information to James because he stays on the road a lot. She loves to inspire children in discovering Gods Word & to work on Bible Class Material for different ages. She's James' ("Girl Friday") secretary and right hand girl. James & Susan were blessed to begin the work in Franklin County at the Senior Citizen's Center in Carrabelle in 2005 but continued looking for a more central and permanent location for the church. They were again excited and blessed when the church changed their location to the St. George Island Volunteer Fire Department. On August 4, 2006, they found a more permanent location and moved the church to 250 Patton Drive in Eastpoint, Florida. The new location provides plenty of space for services. It also has a one bedroom area that James uses while he's in Franklin County. Susan and Samantha continue to live in Perry and drive over on the weekends to attend services at Eastpoint.. In August, "Evangelism Missions" started a Prison Ministry at the Franklin County Institution in Carrabelle and the Bay City Work Camp in Apalachicola. Visitation has also began at the Apalachicola hospital. James continues to visit Franklin County and setup Bible studies. The family would like to thank all of you for your continued support, help and prayers. They also ask that you keep the work in Franklin County in your prayers. May God richly bless you in all that you do for the Lord's work. |
