Mission
- The mission of the Lord’s church is to take HIS message of salvation to
the world. This is done by preaching and teaching the Gospel as clearly
seen in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19, 20; Mark 16:15, 16).
- The church must also show compassion toward all who are needy, but
especially to other Christians (James 1:27; Galatians 6:10).
- Finally, knowledge is gained and faith is strengthened by continuing study
and fellowship (Acts 2:42, Acts 5:42).
Franklin County Mission
- Faithfully respond to the commission in Matt. 28:18-20, Jesus says, “Go
therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to
observe all things that I have commanded you. ” And in Mark 16:15-16 Jesus
said, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.”
